The Velocity represents an evolution in DonJoy ankle brace technology, utilizing several new, proprietary design features, resulting in a new level of ankle brace performance and providing the foundation for successful ankle injury prevention and treatment. The Velocity is a low profile, lightweight ankle brace that prevents abnormal ankle inversion, eversion, and rotation while allowing natural, unrestricted dorsi- and plantar-flexion. The combination of soft goods with a rigid, hinged foot plate and calf cuff provides unsurpassed levels of control, fit, and support. Three Velocity versions are available, affording patients and athletes multiple ankle support levels.
The Stabilizing Ankle support features non-stretch nylon figure 8 straps which lock the calcaneus into place to help control abnormal eversion and inversion. The full-circumference tib/fib strap provides adjustable compression and stability. Ideal for chronic ankle sprains and prophylactic use.
Designed for superior stability, comfort and fit,the RocketSoc is available in four styles for the treatment and prevention of com- mon or acute ankle injuries. The RocketSoc is a step ahead of other ankle supports because of the easy to adjust peroneal fore- foot and calcaneal heel lock straps which provide unsurpassed support to the anterior talofibular, calcaneofibular and posterior talofibular ligaments.
Created with the athlete in mind, the A60 provides a winning combination of effective support and protection, comfort, and simplified application. The patent pending design incorporates a sleek stabilizer located on either side of the ankle. This stabilizer is molded at a 60 degree angle to help guard against ankle sprains and prevent rollover. Manufactured from breathable material, the A60 ensures that the wearer stays comfortably cool and dry, while the light-weight anatomic design easily fits in athletic footwear without creating additional bulk. The A60 is applied and adjusted with a single strap that securely holds it in place; replacing time-consuming lacing. The A60 Ankle Support is available in three sizes: small, medium, and large, with left and right models.
The XP Walker has features to increase comfort, simplify use, and promote compliance while still retaining the clinically effective elements found in the original prefabricated walking brace by Aircast. Each XP Walker features a low rocker sole for added comfort and ease of ambulation, a wider foot base ensuring plenty of room for dressings without sacrificing comfort, and relocated valves to improve ease of use and patient compliance. As with its predecessor, the XP Walker has a lightweight, durable semi-rigid shell that helps support the limb while providing full-shell protection. Lining the shell are overlapping aircells similar to those used in the Aircast patented Duplex™ Ankle Brace aircell system. These aircells provide intermittent pneumatic compression for efficient edema reduction and callus formation, and can be custom-inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a "total contact" fit. This adjustability allows the XP Walker to accommodate changes in limb dimension throughout the healing process while maintaining stability and immobilization.
The XP Walker includes two socks and a hand bulb to inflate and adjust aircells.
Walking Brace Extension Straps are available to increase the strap length by 4" (10 cm).
The Aircast SP Walker, a short pneumatic walking brace, is ideal for patients whose limb length or calf circumference prohibits them from using a standard height walker or for injuries that are best treated with a short walker. Each SP Walker is engineered for patient comfort while providing superior injury protection and support. The Walker's low rocker sole promotes more natural ambulation for improved mobility while the generous foot base has ample room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. The lightweight semi-rigid shell has a pre-inflated anterior aircell and two adjustable aircells located at the malleoli that can be individually inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a "total contact" fit and secure support. Because of the SP Walker's adjustability, changes in limb dimension can be accommodated throughout the healing process while still maintaining stability and immobilization.
The FP Walker provides full-shell protection with pneumatic support. Each FP Walker has a low rocker sole for added comfort and ease of ambulation, and a wider foot base with plenty of room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. With the patient in mind, the valve placement has been relocated to improve compliance and ease of inflation. As with all Aircast Walking Braces, the FP Walker has a lightweight, durable, semi-rigid shell that supports the limb while providing protection. Housed within the shell are two adjustable aircells that provide compression and support the malleoli. These aircells can be individually inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a customized fit and optimal comfort and support. Changes in limb dimension can easily be accommodated throughout the healing process by adjusting aircell inflation to ensure stability and immobilization.
Walking Brace Extension Staps are available to increase the strap length by 4" (10 cm).
Socks are available and may be ordered separately.
Specifically designed to meet the needs of the higher risk diabetic patient, the XP Diabetic Walker System features the XP Diabetic Walker. Similar to the XP Walker™, the XP Diabetic Walker incorporates a high rocker sole for maximum off-loading of the diabetic foot and an innovative dual density insole to help eliminate pressure points. This insole, when combined with the semi-rigid shell and full aircell coverage, also helps regulate shear stress. The Walker's shell/aircell/rocker design maximizes plantar unloading and provides protection and immobilization. A specialized Hand Bulb with Pressure Gauge is included with each System to measure individual aircell compression. This precise measuring ensures regulated aircell inflation for neuropathic patients. The XP Diabetic Walker System is an ideal alternative to total contact casting. Unlike casting which requires costly and time consuming removal and application during skin and wound examinations, the XP Diabetic Walker can be easily removed and reapplied time after time. The XP Diabetic Walker can be secured closed with the Aircast Brace-Lok™ to help monitor patient progress. Walking Brace Extension Straps are available to increase the strap length by 4" (10 cm).
